I WON!<\/p>\n

My site has now an award for\u00c2\u00a0Most innovative use of social media techniques in a communications <\/strong>research project or investigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The award ceremony took place during the The European Public Relations Education and Research Association (Euprera)<\/a> Spring Symposium held\u00c2\u00a0in Lisbon, symptoms<\/a> Portugal on the 3rd of March. Since I am currently in Bahrain and traveling such long distances on a short notice was difficult, I have “picked up” my prize virtually during a Skype call.<\/p>\n

It was with great pleasure that I heard that my site was chosen for the\u00c2\u00a0use of a variety of social media platforms in research and was deemed to have provided <\/a>originality of insights, thought, theoretical understanding, delivered with creativity and style. It is a great honor and I feel humbled. My efforts to integrate technology in public relations and later on in research have started during my undergraduate studies time. Since then I was lucky to see emerging technologies help revive the public relations practice, challenge traditional research and enable teaching to expand beyond the usual borders of a classroom and campus.<\/p>\n
