Soon…
It’s been in the making for quite some time. While I finish up the recordings and the amazing Migo Fecke and the professional-podcasts.com team put the final (magical) touches on these episodes, my plan is to return to the episodes from the previous series by adding show notes and transcription (you will be able to see these under my new “Women in PR” category and page). I’ll also send reminders (mostly via LinkedIn and Instagram) about them.
For now, here’s the teaser for Season 3! Are you excited? I surely am!

Teaser transcript
Here we are. Take 3. Season 3 of Women in PR. It’s happening, and it’s been a long time coming.
Now, if you’ve been emailing with me by any chance, you might have seen the announcement of this 3rd series of Women in PR for quite some time. Honestly, when I wrapped up Series 2 I didn’t think that there’ll be a 3rd. The pandemic was winding down, research was picking up and so did everything… life related.
I mean it. Women in PR is as a project that emerged out of my classroom conversations and networking meetings with wonderful people supporting the idea – there’s still Regina Koerner to thank for her belief in the idea and the many students who have embraced and challenged in equal measure my teaching around PR, history, diversity and culture. Since its launch, Women in PR it has been listened to in more than 50 countries and all without any marketing push or hooha, beyond me bragging about occasionally on LinkedIn.
And now, we find ourselves in a new era, facing fresh yet similar challenges and opportunities in the world of PR, technological and political. So we’ll keep the recipe – a mix of research and practitioner profiles spiced up with reflection and personal stories – and the host (no cloned voice here), we’ll still work with the magnificent team at professional-podcasts.com but also use an AI or two to summarize, clean up the audio, extract show notes and provide clean transcripts, rephrase questions… as I said, I didn’t think series 3 would happen so I need all the help I can get. The knowledge and stories that the guests in these series will share are worth listening to, are original and without such stories, context and research, no Ai would have anything to say.
So like with previous series, we’ll travel to Japan, and Belgium, to Thailand and beyond, in an attempt to find out research that look at PR differently, not only from the perspective of effectively and efficiently serving organizations, and at practitioners that show that knowledge, curiosity, humility and cultural dexterity not language proficiency are essential for a successful career.
You know what to expect: extraordinary people in extraordinary times.
These are not just interviews; they’re invitations to reflect on the future of PR and our role in shaping it: From gender dynamics in PR to cultural adaptations in international settings, from the power of side projects to the ethics of framing, our guests challenge us to think critically about our field’s impact on society.
So join us for Season 3 of Women in PR. Because in these extraordinary times, we need extraordinary insights from extraordinary people.
