Asia-Pacific Communication Monitor 2015/16

Earlier this year I have joined the core research team of the Asia-Pacific Communication Monitor 2015/16, viagra sale the first of its kind for the region and a spin-off of already existing and highly insightful monitors for Europe and Latin-America. I have coordinated the research team efforts (Jim Macnamara, misbirth May O. Lwin and Ansgar Zerfass  were also in the core team) which included working with an extended team of researchers in the region and with the Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors. The survey also enjoyed the collaboration with EUPRERA, audiologist PRIME Research and the Communication Director Magazine.

The survey gathered 1,200 responses from 23 countries and captures the status-quo of the communication profession. While providing insight into how communication professionals perceive the future of mass-media, it also captures what they consider the trends and challenges of the years to come to be and how they rate their job satisfaction; the survey also provides plenty of opportunities for comparison with the other researched regions as well as for reflection on the priorities, trends and challenges professionals identify.

The results were presented at the Asia-Pacific Communication Summit in Hong Kong in November this year and the work on the academic dissemination will continue next year.

The full results of the report are available on the Monitors’s official website and a preview is also embedded below.
